I started making hip hop beats at the age of 18.  I stacked hundreds of beats on my hard drive until someone told me about a hip hop beat contest.  It was the IStandard Producer Showcase in New York City in November 2007. 

I thought I was going to get wiped off the map as I was battling some of the hottest talent in New York.  To my surprise I took home 3rd Place that night.
